I was so glad to meet you. Thanks for doing cool things to make life better. As an extra thanks, I was inspired by you to try something on my own. I hope you'll take the intent as an honor and not focus on the execution:
Paying it Catywumpus with Really Random Acts of Weirdness.

Hey Laura! This is Danielle from the Duquesne JMA class movie "Light." You spent 2 (long) nights at my house filming and I had NO idea this was you!!! Sorry it took me a week to check back to your website, I had finals. :P When I stumbled upon this website a while ago, I started checking back to see new missions. Truly inspiring!! I'm so pumped that I found out it was you!! Not surprised at all. From the moment I met you, I knew you were just a ball of positivity and love.

Thank you for making this world a better place!! -- Danielle

I hope this explodes into something so massive there isn't enough room to fill everything everyone does on your website. Thanks for doing this and for the great ideas! I definitely want to start this here in MT.

Hi Laura --

It's Lea from Houston --I am sure you already have secret agents from here... but could you use one more?... of course I want to know how many you already have from Houston -- let me know when you have time.

Also, I wanted you to know I have your same initials... I am rather technologically challenged -- the truth does hurt... how can I set up a secret agent blog? Please advise. I will do as I can... I am a teacher by day, and I want you to know I would really like to be covert if possible at this point.... do you think most people will have heard via CNN. Also, mental health issues are near and dear to me also, so way to go on that front and with the money you raised... blessings!

Lea from Houston #:0) I hope to hear from you as soon as you are able... so not to worry... let me know what my next step is.

Laura,

I wanted to say that I appreciate what you do, and that I engage in similar activity.

I sometimes buy a pack of 50 Thank You cards, a bunch of stamps and break out a local phone book. I write individual Thank You cards to strangers from "Anonymous" and with no return address.

Sometimes I write letters to people or institutions across the country that have caught my eye, which I admire.

The anonymity is the most important part, although it kills me. My ego wants to take credit, but something magical happens when I can step aside completely and become only the channel for a kind act and none of the personality behind it. It helps me stay sober, besides. :)

Perhaps I can glean some vicarious recognition through your "outing."

Thanks! :)
